Alastair Laird is a freelance cartoonist based in Durban. He has been self-publishing comic books under the Sick Comix Mini Theatre umbrella for twenty years. His subject matter is a blend of autobiography, dark humour, and social commentary.

His work has appeared in Charlie Hebdo, Free Beer Comics, and Mamba Comix.
